Traditional settlement of Palaioi Poroi. At an altitude of 450 meters in stone houses of the 17^th and 18^th century it is surrounded by forest and old churches. It is adjacent to the wetland of N Poroi and it is located near the coast.

Traditional settlement of Palaio Panteleimona: At an altitude of 500 meters overlooking the sea the near the coast. It is known for its architecture. It offers hostels, restaurants. It is also suitable for hiking.

Traditional settlement of Palaia Skotina: At an altitude of 750 meters with old churches, pleasant paths along the picturesque landscape. It is also close to the coast.

Petra: Imposing landscape with a wonderful view to mountain Olympus and Pieria. The Byzantine church of Virgin which is situated in the old monastery of Petra (11^th Century) is a very important monument. It provides taverns and it is suitable for hiking.

Palaia Vrontou: There is the historical church of Agios Nikolaos

Palaia Leptokaria: It is very close to the coast and the archeological site of Livithra. It is the starting point for natural trails.

Litohoro:  A historic town with houses of Macedonian architecture narrow cobbed streets and many chapels. Just 5 km from the coast. It is the starting point for hiking to the gorge of Enippea and mountaineering to the peaks of Olympus.

Traditional Settlement Skotina (Morna): It is surrounded by beech and oak forests. Visitors will enjoy the old stone houses, hiking and the famous pork of the area.

Palaio Elatohori- Elatohori: It is suitable for mountain activities. In the new settlement there is an organized ski center.

Kato Milia: Visitors can visit the folklore collection of the cultural group called  “Lazaioi”as well as the holy water of Agios Georgios in MesaiaMilia.

Kolindros: It is built on the site of a medieval castle with typical Macedonian architecture. It is known as the homeland of Alexis Zorbas. It has old churches. It is also worth visiting the picturesque settlements of Anomilia at an altitude of 1000 meters in the forest, the ruinsof the historic Lazai tower andPalaiaVria.

You can visit the mountain Titaros which separates mount Olympus from Pieria. Agios Dimitrios is a very interesting area too. It offers taverns which serve local products cooked with local recipe.
